November News

Year in Review
It’s been a pretty great year for us!  First we welcomed Lynx Adamah LAc as a second acupuncturist here in February.  Lynx is here on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings, and has been a really welcomed addition to AFW.  If you haven’t yet received a treatment from her, we highly recommend it!

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary in June. Wow, can you believe we’ve been here for 10 years!?  We had a really lovely anniversary party on June 1st to celebrate 10 amazing years with really wonderful patients.  Thank you for your continued support!

It looks like the end is in sight to the construction.  As most of you know, there has been ongoing construction on the light rail right on SE Lake Rd for several years now.  The new MAX stop is almost ready, and construction may be complete in as soon as six months!

Speaking of construction. Today marks the beginning of the final stages of road construction outside the clinic. They will be working in front of our building for the next 2-4 weeks or so rebuilding the new intersection and sidewalks. We will still have access to the building and parking lot, however, on Saturday November 1st the driveway will be closed. Street parking only will be available this day. The construction workers have been accommodating, so just let them know you need to access our building.

Special!
We hope you are each having a wonderful Fall.  This can be a time when allergies resurface, stress around the holidays comes up, and people find their immune systems working extra hard to fight off colds and flus.
Acupuncture can help with all of that!  To celebrate the Fall, and the rebirth of our newsletter, we’d like to offer you a November Special: 5 Treatments For $65!
You can purchase up to 2 of these specials, 10 treatments total, throughout the month of November. Come in today to purchase yours! Our pre-paid treatments will never expire.

Holidays
Happy early Thanksgiving to all of you.  We will be closed on Thanksgiving day, Thursday, November 27th. Sarah will be in on Friday the 28th seeing patients from 9am-1pm.

Work Trade Position Available
We are looking for a wonderful person to help out at our front desk with reception duties, in exchange for weekly acupuncture.  The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, responsible, available to work a 3-4 hour shift once or twice a week, and is excited about community acupuncture! Let us know if you or someone you know is interested.

Hope to see you all soon!
