We believe acupuncture is simple and powerful medicine

Because of its affordability, community acupuncture means patients can come in as often as they need. Sessions are $30 to $50. We think of our patients as family, and we take that seriously.

What is community acupuncture?

By treating patients in a group setting, we can lower fees without sacrificing personalized care. Our sliding scale runs $30 to $50 per treatment at time of service. You choose what works for you, so you can come as often as you need.Acupuncture works best with regular, frequent treatments, and community acupuncture makes that possible. The shared setting also creates a collective healing energy that enhances each individual's treatment.Acupuncture works by restoring balance in the body and supporting your natural ability to heal, which means it helps with a wide range of conditions and symptoms.

Payment

We accept cash, check, and credit/debit. Gift certificates are available. We don't bill insurance directly, but we'll provide a receipt for reimbursement. We do bill for car accident claims.

"I noticed improvement within 2 sessions. It has been just about a month now, and I feel so much better. I am so happy I gave Sarah/Acupuncture a try. I wasn't sure, but now I would recommend it to anyone with physical or emotional challenges. It really has helped me. Thanks Sarah!"

What to expect

Community acupuncture means a personalized treatment in a quiet room full of big, comfy recliners. Think of it as a group nap.

Your first visit

Come a few minutes early for paperwork. We'll talk through your health history and what you need help with, then build a plan together.

How it goes

Check in, pay, and find your favorite chair. Silence your phone, take off your shoes and socks, roll your sleeves and pant legs up, and get comfortable. You and your acupuncturist will chat briefly, then you'll receive your needles, mostly on your arms, hands, legs, feet, ears, and the top of your head.Nervous about needles? They're tiny, solid, and about the width of a hair. Most people find it deeply relaxing. Many fall asleep. Treatments typically run 30 to 60 minutes. Just give us a look when you're ready to wrap up.

Acupuncture is a process

Benefits can show up quickly, but full results are usually gradual. We'll recommend a treatment plan and check in regularly on how you're responding.

A few other things

Bring a blanket if you run cold, earplugs or headphones if you're sensitive to sound, and please skip the perfume or cologne. Let us know if you have any accessibility needs.

“This place is an absolute gem. I am so grateful I found it and that it so close to home and affordable. Both Sarah and Amy are amazing and have helped with tension headaches I get. It has also helped with some lower back pain and anxiety. If you are not sure about acupuncture ,or think that somehow this would be sub-par to paying for a private session somewhere...I encourage you to give them a try! They are very skilled.” — AH
